A Day That Seems to Last Forever

Saturday is the day in between. A day that seems to last forever.
Before there was pain and suffering, doubt ran wild as laughter and hisses were hurled at a Man who walked towards death not because He wanted to but because He chose to.
His love for His people was so powerful. He trudged on mile after mile, stone after stone, whip after whip. Yet He continued forward because He knew what He had to do.
As Friday came to an end, His body was laid to rest while the people went back to their old ways.
Except for those who believed in this Man because having faith in something is better than no faith at all. But believing the truth is ever present will make even the darkest days brighter.
So believe that even though you are blinded by darkness, there will come a time when the light begins to shine through the cracks, for even the tiniest amount of light can lead you.
Love Saturday for what it is; a time to mourn; a time to remember, and a time to prepare. Remember, the clock is always ticking, and time will continue to pass.
Moving through your Saturday will be long and painful, and yet, when Sunday comes, just like the Man, you will be able to awaken to your new life.
