Broken Record

Dear Broken Record,
The sounds you produced on the first few rounds were new to me back in the day, yet as I listened to you recently I realized it was all the same.
You see, over the years I have grown, matured, and realized things change.
You, however, still play your same old piece as if it was just invented.
The ability to have an actual conversation with you always ends the same, with loudness and hate as your true colors only emerge brighter.
On closer inspection of your actions, I’ve come to the realization that you have been and always will be a broken record.
When you don’t get your way it’s always the same old condescending tone with you portraying the righteous party, for in your eyes your word is law.
From my point of view you were just the angry child who turned into an angry adult that continues to run their mouth.
Here is to hoping one that of these days you might just grow up and have something new to say. Then maybe you won’t be so broken.
