Carry On

A picture of the moon through the trees.

The path was lit by the sparse moonlight making its way through the trees. The steps taken that night were with purpose for a great journey was underway, and the only way to complete it was to travel through unknown territory.

Similarly in life, when you find yourself lost and on an unknown path, the only thing you can do is take it one step at a time. There will be times that will be bright enough to see, which will make your travels easier. Then there will be times that are pitch black. It is during these times that you must move slowly and feel for solid ground. It is in these moments when asking for help is essential.

Do not fear the darkness or the unknown, but accept that things are constantly changing. Learn to embrace change because it is the only thing that is certain. You can either let the fear of the unknown hold you back, or you can carry on one tiny step at a time until you can see again.
