Crying and Screaming

How often have we been told to “Quit crying or I will give you something to cry about”?

We cry because that is how we release pain from the body. Most people cry in silence, the shower, in the car, or any other place where other’s won’t see. Crying is the easiest thing we can do to release the tension and uncertainty the body is feeling.

What about screaming? When is the last time you screamed until you couldn’t scream anymore?

I’m not talking about screaming at one another, more as in hearing your own pain as it exits your body.

Sometimes a good scream is needed. You can wear yourself out and release the built up frustrations.

So the next time you feel like crying or screaming, please do. Whether that is into a pillow, into the wind, or wherever you deem fit. Let that negative energy flow out of your body so your system can get to work repairing what needs to be repaired.
