Silence

Sometimes the silence is better than people.

Don’t get me wrong I like most people, but the silence is when you can really process and understand.

Most people talk to talk and don’t talk to listen. Never actually taking in and fully comprehending what has been said, only grazing the surface.

In the silence, you can look at all aspects of what was said, how it was said, what words were emphasized. Did they keep eye contact or look away when they spoke? Were they hesitant to speak or just went nonstop hoping someone would actually hear them for the first time?

People are afraid of silence. They have lost the ability to think for themselves and about themselves.

If you are focused on what others have to say only so you can reply then you are focused on a result, and not the process of learning how you came to that result.

Enjoy the silence.

Please
Listen.

That is where
the true answers
lie.
