Slow the Rush

The rush of daily life is something most people have grown accustomed to.
Why is that? Why are we in a constant state of doing?
Life should not always be in a state of motion, for motion ends up causing stress.
We rush our breakfast. Then rush to work where we are told to work hard, work fast, hurry up and get the job done. Only to sit in rush hour traffic as we make our way home.
Once home, we rush around, trying to do the dishes, laundry, and work on other chores, all while trying to get dinner going.
The rush only ends as we fall exhausted into bed for a few hours of sleep before we start all over again.
So let me ask you some questions. Is there anything you can do to slow the rush or help prepare for the next day’s rush? Anything you can have your kids help with? Are there things that can be eliminated?
What would you do with your time if you weren’t in a constant state of motion as you search for more hours in the day?
