Be Able to Know

How many of us are trying very hard not to explode?

It seems there are a lot of emotions we hold below the surface, always right there on the edge of being released.

Sometimes, we have been holding back for so long the tiniest of things sets us off.

People look at us like what the fuck is your issue.

People only notice the latest interaction and not all the others that have been suppressed . When we are no longer able to take it, exploding is what we do.

We feel foolish when we realize the incident wasn’t even worth it.

That’s how it goes.

If only we could wear a sign that says, “Danger, any interaction from this point forward may lead to a meltdown!”

At least people would be able to know going into a conversation the outcome may be rocky.
