Nothing But Questions

When did you decide to do what you’re going to do? When did the thought first run through your mind, and once it was there, how many times have you thought about it?

How many different scenarios have you played out? All the different ways and places? Which ones would be the easiest for you and for the ones you are leaving behind? What method have you decided upon? Is it going to be clean or will your actions leave a mess?

Have you thought it through to the end? Have you prepared your area and put things in order? Have you left an explanation for your decision?

Now, here are some more important questions. Are you certain this is what you want? Are you sure this is the right decision? Have you discussed this with anyone? Is there someone who you could talk to about all these feelings?

I have asked you many questions about this decision. Just so you are aware, if you go through with this, you will leave nothing but questions for your loved ones. Questions that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Every conversation, every action, every thought will be scrutinized again and again.

So, please take the time to reach out to someone you trust or someone with the knowledge to help you. Please listen when your loved ones say you are acting differently or ask if you are OK? Please know there are people who care about you and want you to be healthy and happy. Please find it within yourself to seek help. You may be in a really bad place at the moment and acknowledging that is the first step in many to get you to a better one.
