They Wanted You to Live

This day of all days is a remembrance of their sacrifice. Their love for others was so great that they died, so we could continue to live. Now we all know the story, but have you ever actually thought about it? What it must have taken to sacrifice his or her life for yours. To be able to say, I will die for you and truly follow through, not because they wanted to die, but because they wanted you to live. There are men and women in this world who have and, when the time comes, will lay down their lives for their love of another. It is our job as the survivors to carry on their love. To enjoy every second we are here and strive to make a difference. To the men and women, who put us before their own lives, we say thank you for being so courageous.
